Custom-made silk scarves
James Morton are market leaders in creating custom-made silk scarves, for all occasions. We have many years of experience in modern printing techniques to create scarves with the highest quality fabrics, including beautiful silk styles. We were delighted to be part of Il Divo’s ‘Amor & Pasión’ UK and Europe tour, the thirteenth tour since the band was formed! We designed 200 beautiful Il Divo silk scarves for VIP ticket holders who were each given one as a gift, as part of their VIP package. It was created in a simple but elegant burgundy colour, including gold lettering to create an exclusive and memorable accessory. In the past we’ve also produced customised designs for the Royal Hospital Chelsea featuring a beautiful poppy design and we’ve worked with entertainment agency Peel Entertainment to supply Tradewind Voyages with luxurious tropical prints.
Custom-made polyester scarves
Our custom-made scarves can also be dye-printed onto polyester, which is a very cost-effective way to achieve a polished look. We’ve created branded designs for Nexus and e-on featuring their corporate logos to use as part of their customised uniforms. We’ve also produced bespoke designs for equestrian groups, as well as Chester Racecourse, so that their stewards and front-of-house team look the part on race days.
Matching ties and scarves
If you’re looking for a style that spans both male and female neckwear, we can also create customised tie and scarf sets. These are often made in the UK using our traditional woven fabric for both, to create a matching look. Ladies’ preformed scarves and cravats, as well as bow ties, are also available, with adjustable neck bands or clip fastenings.
Custom finishes and bespoke touches
Typically, we print our ladies’ scarves rather than weaving them, as woven fabrics tend to be heavier. Also, we find that many of our designs benefit from a slightly translucent look, which is only possible using printed voile and crepe fabrics. If your print contains more than eight colours, we would use a digital print for a high-definition finish. The most traditional fabric is twill, but we can also create a satin option for important occasions, which offers an extremely luxurious finish. Scarves are available in a range of weaves including satin, twill, chiffon and crepe. Our scarves can also be made in shape, but our most popular sizes are 137x23cms and a square in 80x80cm.
