The fine silk thread offers a superior shine as well as a classic texture and handle. If you’d like a logo or a motif on your tie, this can be jacquard woven into the silk fabric. Our expert weavers can create bespoke designs and patterns to a fine level of detail.
If you’re looking for a lighter weight piece of neckwear, you may wish to choose a printed silk tie. As well as being suitable for smaller knots, the crisp, dry handle and lighter fabric make them an appealing option. We offer both dye-printed and digitally-printed silk ties. Dye-printed silk ties are made by dying plain fabrics using large screens that can be used to achieve vibrant colours and large areas of fine detailing. Digitally printed silk ties are manufactured using a specialist printing machine, which can also achieve high levels of detail and add depth to your customised design.
Polyester ties are the practical choice for schools, corporations and any organisation that needs ties worn daily. They hold up to regular use far better than silk, cost less, and deliver the consistent “uniform” look most teams are after. Modern manufacturing has moved polyester a long way from the cheap, synthetic fabric it used to be- today it’s a genuine alternative to silk for everyday wear.
